Dunedin, is the second largest city on the South Island of New Zealand in the Otago region.

Dunedin is known as the 'Edinburgh of the South' and has a proud Scottish heritage as well as magnificent Victorian and Edwardian historic buildings. Nearby Otago Peninsula is renowned for its wildlife viewing opportunities with rare penguins, sea lions, fur seals and a royal albatross colony.

North of Dunedin are the famous Moeraki boulders and the historical town of Oamaru with its historic whitestone architecture, galleries and craft shops.

Dunedin is the start of the Southern Scenic Route, a scenic travelling route through spectacular coastal and rural scenery around the south of the South Island.
