Rock'n'Roll festival, classic cars, music & other events The Whangamata Beachhop is a five day festival celebrating the 50's & 60's rock'n'roll era. Held annually in March on the Coromandel Peninsula, the programme includes classic car & hot rod parades, bands & music, competitions, fashion shows & many other events.
