Checking your current listing
To check if your site is currently listed and how it looks, go to the search box on the left and enter the main part of your website address (eg yourdomainname.co.nz).Then press the search button.
If your site is listed it will be in the results and you will be able to "drill down" to the category you are listed in by clicking on the "breadcrumb link" below your listing.
Listing Options Available
Five listing options are currently available on the Great New Zealand suite of web sites.
All listings on appear on both Great New Zealand and Destination NZ.
Featured (paid) listings, or those with a reciprocal link to our site, also go on our local directory web site for your region (eg Queenstown Travel Guide).

Red listings (eg Windsor) are Web Page listings (click on "More Info" to view the web page)
Green listings (eg At the Beach) are Photo listings
Blue listings are Enhanced listings
Orange listings are from Vianet and allow the user to view availablility and to make bookings. Visitors to these Vianet listings cannot click directly to your site, or conatct you directly.
If you click on the "Show More Listings" link below these, you will see the Basic listings. Basic listings with a reciprocal link to us are in bold and red to stand out from the others.
Web page listings have:
A thumbnail photo in the listing making it stand out from enhanced and basic listings
355 characters of text in the hotlinked heading and detail of the main listing
More Info, Website, and Inquiry buttons on the main listing in Great New Zealand
Priority positioning above other types of listings
Listing also on "Featured Listing" page, one click from the home page
Plus
different stand alone web pages on three sites including one of our Regional Travel Guides (eg Queenstown Travel Guide)
Each web page has:
Up to 4 photos (max width 200px @ 72dpi)
Up to 400 words of text
Contact Name, Phone, NZ Freephone and Qualmark Rating fields
Hot linked buttons to Website, dynamic Inquiry form, and your own booking page or form if you have one

We write an optimised title tag, description tag and keywords tag for the page to ensure it is as Search Engine friendly as possible. This should ensure that, in time, it is found and indexed well by Search engines giving you another presence on the Internet other than your own site

the option to be in more than one category (all linked to web page)
the option to go in the Travel Deals category.

$200 for 12 months plus a $50 one off setup fee)
Extra category $40 for 12 months

If basic listings have a reciprocal link in place to us, the listing is in bold font with a highlighted heading to make it stand out from others. It will also appear in one of our Regional Travel Guides (eg Queenstown Travel Guide).

We also operate a number of other web sites including New Zealand Rugby Info & Travel, which has a heavy focus on travellers to any major Rugby events in New Zealand, including Bledisloe Cup, Tri Nations and Super 14 matches and the World Cup in 2011. Advertising is also available on this site for a one off price till beyond the World Cup in New Zealand in 2011. (listings till March 31 2012)

Within each type of listing, listings are then randomised, so every listing gets equal time at the top (of their listing type).
