Your Hosts One of the greatest pleasures of a stay at Kokonga Lodge is the warm hospitality and superb breakfasts and dinners provided by your hosts Dorothy and Malcolm. We have spent many years in the hospitality industry and will make your stay memorable and supremely comfortable. We provide a pick up / drop off service to / from the Taieri Gorge train and other transfers as required. Mountain bikes, fishing gear and gold pans available. Self Contained Cottage The newly built two-storied, self-contained holiday cottage, suitable for four persons is on the same property as Kokonga Lodge. The fully serviced cottage offers; Two bedrooms (one double, one double/twin) Bathroom with bath & shower Fully equipped kitchen Laundry Dining room & lounge and deck All linen & bedding supplied Continental breakfast ingredients Minimum 2 night stay. Things to Do From Kokonga Lodge you can bike or walk the more interesting sections of the Otago Rail Trail. Short walks from the Lodge include the Taieri Riverside walk and the Kokonga Town Walk. There is excellent fishing in the Taieri River, golf, curling, horse treks, farm tours, 4WD tours, gardens to visit and gold panning.
