Fashion Week While traditionally for those involved in the fashion industry, the recently conceived Designer Selection shows and NZ Fashion WEEKEND - with its associated NZ Herald Designer Garage Sale - ensure that the public can be involved and take part in this alluring event. At both Fashion Weekend and during the trade week, all designers' shows feature on the many screens around the venue. So get involved with the glitz, glamour and endless enjoyment that is New Zealand Fashion Week. Get your own taste of Fashion Week Fashion WEEKEND opens up to the public on Friday afternoon and evening then again for a full day Saturday. Catwalk shows include the up & coming designers show, bridal collection and the popular Designer Selection Show - showcasing selected pieces from all of the NZFW designers and a sneak preview of upcoming winter collections. Every attendee of the show receives a Fashion Week goodie-bag full of valuable sponsor treats. The renowned New Zealand Herald Designer Garage Sale is the nation's largest sale of its kind and the opportunity to take home iconic pieces by some of New Zealand's most loved designers. DJs, Entertainment, Bars & Restaurants Right throughout the trade week and Fashion Weekend, the Fashion Week venue at Auckland's Viaduct will have a great line-up of DJs and bands playing. The Fashion Week venue boasts its own bars and restaurants and, as always, an awesome atmosphere. Come on down and get amongst it!
