Farmstay Accommodation Stay in our self contained farmstay accommodation on a working dairy farm in the heart of Waikato King Country. Use our farmstay as your base for sightseeing & other activities in the area. Enjoy relaxing trout fishing in between! For our rates, click here. Self-contained Cottage Accommodation is available in a 4 bedroom, fully equipped cottage with king, queen and king single beds, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining rooms. Breakfast provisions supplied and home cooked dinner by arrangement. Cottage Facilities The cottage is equipped with the following: - Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher & fridge/freezer - The warmth and charm of a log fire - 32" TV with DVD & video player - Stereo & radio, alarm clock & hairdryer - All linen supplied and electric blankets - Clean towels supplied daily - Washing machine & clothes dryer Trout Fishing Two renowned trout fishing rivers (the Waihou and Waimakariri) are on the farm offering superb fishing. There is approximately 3 kilometres of rivers for you to fish just a few minutes walk from the farmstay. Only people staying here have access to the rivers on the property and rivers are open all year round. Both rainbow & brown trout are caught here and there is a limit of 5 fish per day. We supply top of the line fishing rods for free to our guests, you just need to purchase your fishing licence from Fish & Game NZ which can be done online using our computer and your credit card. An experienced guide is available if required.
